The pool was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole place was beautiful and relaxing. We headed to Nusa Lembongan the next day; it was a great one night stop over.

Loved the presentation of the property, very Balinese. Great breakfast, nice sized rooms, lovely pool area, friendly staff

Water pressure was lacking in shower…

Pillows are like bags of linen. Hard with no cushion

Swimmingpool was great.

The lovely staff was ever so friendly and helpful. I had requested an upstairs room and they made it work! the rooms are large with a big balcony or terrace and it was very quiet at night. It's a bit far to the beach but you can rent a cheap bicycle. Plenty of pubs and shops around. The pool was nice albeit too hot for me (but others probably will love it hot!). The breakfast (I had to pay extra) was plentiful and good value. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

as the rooms are quite dark it would be nice to have even more lighting by the bed?

Helpful staff, nice room and nice pool that we could not use due to us leaving very early the next day. Overall a good place even though we only got there at 18 and let the morning after very early.

Lovely spacious rooms, older style (which i prefer) with nice balcony siting area, pool was nice and breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately the driver arranged for airport pick up didn’t show - apparently stuck in Canggu - fortunately I called them and found this out so we were not waiting around. They were very apologetic when we arrived and had upgraded our room, I was satisfied with how this was managed - these sorts of things happen.

The location, space and staff were excellent. Breakfast options great. We loved our stay and will certainly return.

Only a suggestion more shade around pool would be great whether that be more umbrellas or planters as can get quite busy and very hot.

Nice big room, lovely pool. Only stayed one night but Sanur seemed to be a nice place, quieter than Seminyak or Kuta and with an older tourist population.

The family atmosphere,obliging staff,excellent taxi driver,location of excellent restaurants. Value for money!

Breakfast was good but not great. The mattress was fine but not luxurious.

It was a great place to stay we wanted somewhere not to many miles from the airport to start our Bali tour and this was very good beautifully clear swimming poole and a great breakfast

The location is amazing and the pool is really nice and big! Restaurants and shops right by the hotel. Great value for money

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and so were the pillows. There was no duvet just a sheet with a blanket in the middle. The staff were rather rude towards us but maybe that was because we were very young compared to the people there. We didn’t want to eat there and breakfast that was included wasn’t very good.

Andy at the front desk was amazing! We had a midnight flight so he let us have a shower and freshen up before hand (we checked out mid day so to use the facilities at night was a huge help) Pool is massive with plenty of beds The hotel grounds is beautiful

Bumi Ayu Bungalows represents for me, the real old charm of Bali. Spacious, airy rooms in a gorgeous tropical garden setting, give both privacy and security. Away from the main road and busy beach, it becomes a tranquil escape from the traffic and tourist crowds. The pool setting is perfect to 'chill'. Mid-range prices with all services and genuinely friendly and helpful staff.

The swimming pool is very nice, and the whole hotel complex is very cozy with lots of trees all around.

Be careful in the hotels restaurant, they tried to fool us with the classic trick of adding a zero to the water price. Which bumped up our bill to almost double the amount it should have been. It might be hard for people to notice this because they are also adding taxes to the prices in the menu (in my oppinion taxes should always be included in the menu prices, to not confuse customers). We had ordered 2 dishes and 1 water, it was written a price for the 2 dishes but on the water it was left out. However the last sum was already calculated adding up the three items (so we noticed that the water price had become 65000 but should have been 6500). dish1 - 40000 dish2 - 45000 water - sum - 150000 When we approached the staff with the wrong bill where, they just said "oh but it's because of the extra tax". But we asked them to recalculate the bill in front of our eyes, and it turned out that we were correct. They had tried a cheap trick on us... it made us really angry and created a bad athmosphere of the whole stay unfortunately.

Gorgeous garden, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Very good pool and good breakfast. Location - close to very good restaurants, spas, shops and the beach. Although Sanur can be as busy as rest of the South Bali, the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, we had a very good sleep there. Recommended for families and couples.

The superior rooms are actually not superior but standard and basic, which is quite OK considering what you get for your money. But if you are looking for a more comfortable and pampered stay, book the suites or deluxe rooms which seemed to be very nice. The bathroom was a bit rundown and needed renovation. I was charged extra 3% of the bill because I paid with the credit card. That is not transparent price policy and should be communicated to costumers in advance when they make their reservation.

Room close to nice pool and surroundings of tropical gardens. Staff very friendly and helpful, it’s a family run business, so very personal. Good value and short 5 minute walking to shops and restaurants.

Wifi was a bit erratic.
